Second "Run to the Sun" Canicross Mountain Race

canicross_2016_thumb.jpgOn Friday, 29 April, the time had come once again. The second "Run to the Sun" mountain race took place in Dreistetten in bright sunshine and at almost 20 °C. This time, too, I photographed the race on behalf of the LaufHundeSport-Austria association.

The start of the more than 30 canicrossers was this time at the sports field and then went 5km and over 300 metres of altitude up the Hohe Wand to the Herrgottschnitzerhaus. I positioned myself in the back third of the course and you could see very well that the trail demanded everything from the runners.

Afterwards there was of course an award ceremony with many nice prizes! The list of participants and results can be seen on raceresult.com. And here are some photos of the Canicross mountain run:
